Privacy Policy

This notice explains how personal data is used when you visit maric.dev, send a message or book a call.

01

Who is responsible

Ivan Marić, Belgrade, Serbia, is responsible for the processing described here. You can reach me at maric.dev.

02

Messages and enquiries

When you contact me, I process the information you provide, including your name, email address and message, to respond to your enquiry and manage any related correspondence or collaboration.

Providing these details is voluntary, but a name, email address and message are required to use the contact form. General enquiries are handled on the basis of my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact me. Enquiries about services may also involve taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement.

03

Website operation and security

Technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages and submission activity, is processed to deliver the site, troubleshoot problems and protect it from spam and misuse. This processing is based on my legitimate interest in maintaining a functioning, secure website.

04

Booking an intro call

The booking page uses an external scheduling service. When the calendar loads, your browser connects to that service and shares technical connection data. If you make a booking, the details you enter are used to arrange the call.

Scheduling and video-call services also process information under their own privacy policies. The booking page and invitation identify the services used. You can contact me by email if you prefer not to use the embedded calendar.

05

Service providers

Providers of website hosting, email delivery and storage, scheduling and video calls process the data needed to support those services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. You can contact me for further information about the providers relevant to your enquiry.

06

Browser preferences and analytics

I do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website. Your browser saves your chosen colour theme so it can be used on your next visit. This preference stays on your device until you change it or clear the site's browser data. The language is selected through the page address rather than a language cookie.

External services, including the embedded booking calendar, may use their own cookies or similar storage under their own policies. The statement above about analytics and advertising does not describe those services.

07

How long information is kept

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry, follow up on our discussion or carry out agreed work. Some records may need to be kept for legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Retention of technical records depends on operational and security needs and the settings of the services handling them. If you would like information about particular records or want to request deletion, contact maric.dev.

08

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, request restriction, or request data portability where it applies. Write to maric.dev. A deletion request may be limited by a legal obligation or another lawful reason to retain particular records.

You can also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Serbia, this is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.

09

Changes

If the way the site handles data changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
